Lammas
Now is time to gather the first harvest
fruits and corn ripened to their best
we reap the rewards of the seeds sown
which we nurtured till fully grown
I give thanks for the bounties in our life
that we gained through determination and strife
we now must mourn the suns waning power
and give way to darkness and sleep by the hour
we gather our harvest in the present
we sowed the seeds in the past
we enjoy the rewards in the future
we shall see another circle cast.
Thank you fruits and thank you bread
for making sure we are fed.
Blessed Be

Summer Solstice poem
Midsummer gives us the longest day and shortest night
the shortest dark and longest light
the sun is at it's maximum power
encouraging from the earth many a flower
as these flowers blossom and bloom
our hopes and dreams will come all too soon
the earth is glowing green and bright
the sun ascends with warmth and might
all around us light and life are growing
we feel our strength and creativity flowing
Blessed Be
